Hanoi, Hoa Binh, the Black River, Hanoi.

See and feel the real Vietnam on just a one-day trip south-west of Hanoi. Hoa Binh province is located in the Black River Delta. The area surrounding Hoa Binh features peaceful villages, paddy fields and mountains.

We depart from Hanoi to Hoa Binh province. Upon our arrival at the Black River, an area blessed with rich forest, limestone panoramas and breathtaking scenery. Here we enjoy a wonderful boat ride along the river.

Next, we hike along tracks and paths used by the local people, across spectacular mountain scenery, verdant hills and patches of cultivated land. En route we stop to visit a local Dao village, home to the Dao people, nestled in a picturesque valley.

We hike down a slope to the river. We are rewarded with a brilliant backdrop from the river. Following lunch in a local restaurant, we board our vehicle for our journey back to Hanoi, arriving there at around 5 p.m. (Breakfast and lunch are included).

Physical activities:

Easy hiking with:

- a 2-7 km hike.

From July to September, the climate is usually humid and hot. From October to June brings cooler and more pleasant weather.
